In 1997 we became a Good Samaritan church.

This means we focus on our neighbors who are in some kind of crisis - physically, emotionally and/or spiritually.

It means we open our hearts and the doors of our facility to the poor and marginalized people of our city.

It means we love people.

OKCC was founded in an effort to do this in practical ways.

Participate

There are considerable and profound ways in which everyone can participate and celebrate the opportunity of ministering to those in need!

Volunteer

There are numerous ways to volunteer services to OKC Compassion and those who are our privilege to serve.  Simply click here to see the Project List and match up your skills to the project that best suits your interest.

Finances

The various ways to give of your financial resources includes:

• Periodically according to your personal or corporate income; i.e. monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually
• Faith-Promise is a method of giving based on income that you receive over and beyond your regular salary; i.e. bonuses, garage sales, gifts, etc.
• You may wish to give to certain projects or needs that you have observed from your visit to our facility, a conversation with one of the staff members, or your review of this website and other publications.

Prayer

We desire that several people commit to pray for our staff and the providential care of those we assist.  Consider covering those who are actively involved in this ministry with prayer on a daily basis - their safety, wisdom, divine connections, and other ways in which the Spirit of God leads you to intercede.  And then send an email or letter to let us know that you have committed time to this great resource.

Matthew 25:40

“I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you are doing it to me.”
